We can all look back on a very successful event.

On Saturday the youth tournament that started up was busy, and unfortunately for the reserve team was no place.

Unfortunately the tournament was at the end of the day stopped by the rain.

Fortunately we were the finals for the boys and the girls still in the Activia A sports games.

But for the boys and girls B and C was the end of the tournament.

On Sunday and Monday was played in the Premier Division to Region Division.

With perfect weather, the volleyball matches played on Monday and finished with finals.

The evenings were like every year a great success.

Many visitors and a great atmosphere.

The organization wants to thank everyone.

First of all volunteers for their tremendous effort, but all participants for their contribution to the tournament.

The Whitsun Tournament is an annual volleybal tournament at Pentecost and is held in the Noord Brabant village Sint Anthonis. During the tournament, which is organized by the local volleyball club Activia, the Open Dutch Championship Volleyball On Grass is played (an official title of the NeVoBo).

The Whitsun Tournament was first organized in 1957 as a regional volleyballtournament. It developed into a major international event with teams from all over the world in a very short time span. During the `80s and `90s the qualifying games competed for a place in the main tournament, were played on Saturday of the Whitsun weekend. These qualification rounds are no longer played and the Saturday is now used for the youth tournament where they compete for the title: Open Dutch Youth Championship..

For several years, the tournament is also a place where the beach volleyball tournament at first division level is played.

And this year, for the first time, also youth qualification beach volleyball on Saturday.

The evenings of the Whitsun weekend filled with the Whitsun Party. Apart from a fair at the town`s square "De Brink" there will also be concerts with live bands. This year "De Dijk" on Fridayevening for tournament participants as well as visitors from the region..
